CLOSED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS! Fossil Museum Admission for FREE during March to Morden Residents

It’s Morden’s Mosasaur March time! Great news to museum lovers especially if you are keen on dinosaurs and fossils.

The star attraction in Morden is giving away free admission to all city residents, so if you haven’t visited it yet, now this is the time.

The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (CFDC) is a great place to spend time with your kids exploring how those animals lived in the area during the Cretaceous age and digging into Manitoba’s past.

The museum offers the exciting Dig Tour that leads you to brush away layers of earth in an 80 million year site revealing the secrets of giant marine fossil reptiles!

All you need to do is to take one piece of ID stating you live in Morden. So go ahead and visit Bruce, the Guinness Record holder as the largest Mosasaur on display in the world!

Summer Employment and Volunteer Opportunities

CFDC is also looking for students that like to interact with people to work during the Summer season. The position requires someone with lots of enthusiasm, interest in rocks and fossils. The application deadline is March 15th.

Also, you can engage in a volunteer experience with CFDC. It can be a fun and fascinating one!

Dino Day Camp

If you miss March promo, you can still try Dino Day camp from March 30 – April 3 when they are having several daily activities for the little ones, check it below:

So tell me, have you ever been to the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre? How was your experience there? We visited once in 2017 during our exploratory visit but I’ll make sure to go again this month. I found it amazing and super recommend!
